About Us
Our History
The roots of Hydrodynamics go back 10+ years to a major water leak that occurred in the home of Hydrodynamics co-founder and renowned architect, Roger Brasel. Roger was frustrated by the $165,000 bill that he was faced with and felt that with the current state of technology we should be able to avoid such disasters. Enter Bill Underhill with his extensive business background and Stephen Samuels, PE Mechanical Engineer, and Hydrodynamics was born.
Hydrodynamics has leveraged the innovative spirit of Silicon Valley and built a team of engineers and technologists focused on developing products that help people manage the water usage in their homes and businesses. The Flow Sentinel is the first of these products which provides home owners with the ability to detect leaks, intelligently track water usage, and remotely shut off the water supplies to prevent costly disasters.
As we enter a time when smart homes are becoming more and more ubiquitous, why should our doorbells be smarter than our water?
